My colleague will always feed me funny things which I NEVER tasted before...
First, she asked me to eat the chesnut (which fried with coffee beans...or charcoal?)
I don't like the smell of it so I never intend to try at all...
Due to give face to her offer, I tried and got hooked!
Butterscoth bread!
It's RM4/pkt, by Guardinia...
Never had it before, thanks to her!
Now,cookies!
I not really a big fan, but do have it sometimes...
However, cookies from Mark & Spencer... way too expensive~
She offered and told me that she used to have it in UK, I asked how much she said RM9.90/pkt!
Woahhh... that's way too much for cookies!
I had the 1st piece.... 2nd... 3rd... and end up nearly the whole packet!
It's really delicious and nice!
Simply irresistable!
Today, she wanted to purchase the cookies since we were in 1Utama...
I told her that's the 1st time I stepped in Marks & Spencer...
As I know it's kind of "expensive" shop, so never intend to go in...
She said, not really...
Oh well.... it is to me!
Went over to the "Food" area...
Saw some other cookies...
The price for the Jam Sandwich Creams from RM9.90 drop to RM9!
Great, I purchased 1 packet for own "pleasure"...
But can't afford to have it always!
Yummy!!!
Jam Sandwich Creams
Great to try!

Home Cooked Meal for Friends
This would be the 2nd time in a week that I've cooked for friends...
I did it on Monday, and it went well...
Was pretty happy that nothing left, not even the soup...
It's nice to see that the meal that I cooked sincerely being well appreciated.
Since that Monday, 2 friends couldn't make it...
So I cooked again on Wednesday...
This time, much more interesting, there's a vegetarian around.
How do I want to cook a meal without using garlic, onion and oyster sauce?
I did really cracked my head to wonder, what dish should I cook then?
The day before the dinner, I've cut and prepare most of the ingredients so that I can start to cook immediately after work...
At the same time, I pre-cooked the Soup of That Night, ABC soup and also cabbage soup (ala-abc soup style)
Then the next day, I still need to grab some green vegetables to add in the menu!
So total of the dishes 9 with 2 soups....
For 6 people...
Well, since I don't really know how to cook "vegetarian" meals, glad that it's being appreciated as well.
Thai Style Tofu
Stir Fried Mushroom with Celery and Cashewnuts
Stir Fried Kailan
Black Sauce Pork Fillet
Steam Pork Ribs
Omelette with crab stick and onion
Omelette
Kitchen temporarily close, Chef kind a tired at the moment.
Will be "supplier" on Sunday, steamboat at friend's house....
So merry and warmie!

Little Taiwan, 1Utama New Wing
Another new outlet opened in 1Utama...
One of my colleagues was wondering this "Little Taiwan" is it HALAL?
At first I told that, should be non-halal with the concept and all....
So eventually we decided to have something else till we saw the HALAL logo at the entrance of this restaurant...
We head in to give it a try.
Basically was bit pack as it was lunch time...
I even got to get the menu myself at the side counter...
Took us sometime to decide what we wanted to order though.
Honestly, I can't remember much of the name of the items we ordered and I don't really enjoy the food there at all, so as my colleagues.
The food was fast to serve, however my colleague ordered the Beef Noodle Steamboat, came without the BEEF MEAT! Just the noodle and 2 meatballs...
And the taste of the soup, tasted of chili powder to the max!
I had the chicken chop noodle or something, the noodle eventually got the smell (not sure how to call that... the yellow noodle taste even though the noodle being served is ramen!)
Another colleague of mine ordered something like beef noodle, the only thing that which they both like, will be the beef meat as it was tender.
Drinks wise, I had lemon tea, one had black tea ice (I guess) and the halal gal had passion fruit juice (I guess again) and it's so sweet! However, it's not too bad though.
We shared a plate of salted chicken (which was not crispy at all and the chili sauce that given, tasted like strawberry with chili mixed) and also a plate of toast.
Passion Fruit
Hot Lemon Tea
Iced Black Tea
Beef Noodle
Chicken Chop Ramen
Toast Bread
Not really will go there again...
The service not really up to par and quite a dissapointment.
I do wonder, is this how Taiwanese food taste like?

Coffee Ritual, Seksyen 14, PJ
Market Research!
Heard of the place Coffee Ritual from my colleague not long ago...
So,I went google on their website and check out what's the specialty...
Of course COFFEE.
The food pricing also not that expensive...
So we decided to give it a try.
Drove all the way from BU to Seksyen 14 to hunt the cafe...
We've been greeted by the owner, Ee Min...
Eventually only her and her partner as the "server" for that night...
We browsed thru the menu and it's kind a hard to choose as there's lot of choices from breakfast till desserts!
Ee Min introduced us their promotion sets, which was a good deal, but I got lost as it's too much to input...
So I settled down with lamb, my colleagues, a lamb n a chicken...
The set, 1 main course + drink, add on some $ for starter + a dessert!
We started off with our chosen starter...
Mushroom soup...
It's superb and delicious!
Served with hot roll with melted butter...
Mmmmmm!
Splendid!
Then came the chicken wings as side order...
Crunchy... and I thought was those we can find in supermarket...
I was wrong, they done their own marinating...
Yummy too~
The arrival of our main courses...
Eventually...
Was not really that good...
However, with the price we paying, can't demand much right?
Well, don't really want to comment much on this, just don't order whatever we did...
Actually, we are looking foward to try something else from the menu next time though~
Dessert dessert!!!
Ice cream...
It's nice and not too sweet...
However, I forgot, what's the brand of it...
Especially it's vanilla flavour...
I luv it!
I forced one of my colleague to order their coffee to taste...
I want to see how they brew the coffee...
As my another colleague and me don't take coffee...
So end up she did.
It's so fun to see the brewing...
Took about 1 minute and 30 seconds to serve...
The aroma it's great and the taste it's mild and yet there's the umph~
For our whole experience...
It's great....
Will go back there when we can!
Luv the place...
If there's couch, it will be even better!
Total bill spent RM98.00 for 3 pax!
Table Tents
Cutleries Settings
Lemonade
Mushroom Soup, it's so creamy and it comes with a dinner roll!
Chicken Wing, 3pcs = 6pcs after chop chop!
Cafe de Paris Grilled Lamb
Grilled Cajun Chicken
Our Desserts... ICE CREAM (forgot what brand!)
Preparation for coffee
Voila! Brazil Coffee, great aroma!
Display Items
Vacuum Maker
Cute Grinder Hung at the wall
View from the cafe

Our HONEYMOON Dessert
For lunch today...
I got to "tap toi" with Aunty M and her friends as I don't like to eat alone...
So since she's in 1Utama so I just join her and her friends for a bite at Charms.
Charms having a good deal at lunch...
Basically is like Buy one free One...
4 persons just about RM 37, not too bad!
I wanted to have some dessert then Aunty M suggested to go over to Honeymoon which located at New Wing Lower Ground Floor...
We took a while to browsed through the menu...
I eventually just pick back the one that I like...
Sweet Potato and Ginger Soup!
Aunty Lyn said that, I CAN COOK THAT AT HOME..
So I went and pick again...
I choose back the same thing though!
Then...
There's another friend of them dropped by same goes with my colleague...
Chat around move around, snapped around...
They were wondering, why the mascot look like... this and that... *imagine imagine*
Why is the interior is Library?
We understand the walls frame deco which are countries "attractions".. but library?
Then, the side sofa bench that we sat on, it was quite high, so it's not really convenient for short people though....
Averagely, not too bad....
Price not that expensive... I guess?
The Menu
Cute spoon...
Supposed to be Yin and Yang... but..it will just known as Black Glutinous with Soya Bean
Red Bean Soup
Peanut Soup
Mango Cake
Sweet Potato with Ginger Soup
Nata De Coco with Beancurd...
Little Mascot who look like..... >_< just imagine~
What's inside of my bowl?
The Order chit which stated... very very very very very hot as how Aunty Lyn's ordered, but it came...Hot.
The Interiors...
One time try, will do.
I will stick back with the hawker's dessert.

My RM10 nett Lunch at Mark's Laksa, 1Utama
Just a simple one...
I passed by Mark's Laksa most of the time...
Till, last Thursday I stopped and looked at their menu board...
Lunch set at RM10 nett...
A dish + Rice + vege + Dessert + Cincau Ice
So I just grabbed my colleague to have lunch there...
The dish you may choose Sambal Udang or Black pepper chicken...
Then I added a fried egg, so my total meal was RM10.80 nett...
Worth?
I thought I will just get about 4-5pcs of prawns, but I guess there's about 8-9pcs!
But of course, it's not like you getting the big head fresh water prawn!
Averagely it's ok!
My whole meal...
Good lunch!

The Bird, Bandar Manjalara, Kepong
Another lonely Sunday nite....
Lucky enough my luvly aunty M brought me out for dinner...
She said there's a place called The Bird which she came long time ago...
So she wanted to check out whether the restaurant still around...
She fetched me all the way out to Bandar Manjalara...
And good enough, we found the place!
She been greeted by a guy, who looks really familiar to me...
He was used to be an actor for Malaysia's production....
It was a way back then...
Desmond, as I recalled... (I used to watch Malaysia's Chinese Drama, aight!)
So we've been browsing and wondering what should we have till we decided on the Butter Chicken with Rice and the Sang Har Mee...
Aunty M picked the house specialty beancurb and we even got my favourite drink of all...
The Ambra Juice with Sour Plum...!!!
I first had that when I was back in Penang...
Mmm, luv it!
Eventually...
The interior of the restaurant are more to the antique oldies of the 60's...
I can't manage to get the inside photos as it was quite a busy night...
So I just get what I can...
The Bird
Entrance
The Menu
Ambra with Sour Plum
House Specialty Beancurd
Butter Chicken with Rice
Fried Noodle with Fresh Water Prawn
